Advertising

Have you a motoring business and are you interested in advertising on The Rambling Motorist?  I am actively looking for businesses who want to advertise on the blog on a regular monthly basis.

Visitor Numbers

Since 2026, I have regular visitors of between 2,700 to 4,000 people visiting the blog monthly.  This varies based on the subject, or perhaps because of a popular event, or a popular topic in vogue at the time.

Advert Image Sizes

There are two advert sizes that I can easily accommodate by dropping these straight into a post, as follows…

  • A horizontal advert, JPG image of size 800 pixels wide x 250 pixels high.
  • A vertical advert, JPG image of size 250 pixels wide x 800 pixels high.

Advertising Pricing

Each image only costs £10 per month, however, three or additional images costs £5 each per month.  Payments in advance by standing order.

Placing of Adverts

I will chose where best to place your advert based upon what you are advertising, for example oil for classic cars, would be better served on an article relating to a classic car themed event or perhaps maintenance because this is where your target audience will be.  However, if you think I have it wrong, I am happy to make changes.  A viewer will then be able to click on your image, and it will take them direct to your website.

Can you have an exclusive advert on a blog post?  No, not at these prices.  I need to be able to sell advertising space to others.  However, you will have a permanant URL on our Supporters page as a thank you for being a paid supporter of the blog.

URL Links

How will you know if someone came from the blog?  Your own website stats will show something like…

https://www.ACME.com?referer=https://www.TheRamblingMotorist.com/article

Broken links will affect our rankings, so if you change your website, you will need to update the URL for your advert by sending me an email.  I can then make a change for you.

So act now, make contact with me, and get advertising your business on the blog, every little helps.
