Lippy
“Lippy” is a 1981 Austin Morris Mini HL Cabriolet by Auto Design (Kent). Fitted with a 998cc engine and manual gearbox, she does have a stage one tuning pack from Mini Sport. I have owned the car since 1992, and now currently slowly being restored. As many trim parts are no longer available, this may take a while.
Jeffery
Another project is a 1983 Austin Mini Mayfair, again fitted with a 998cc engine and manual gearbox. Jeffery will need restoration after Lippy is completed.
Bluebelle
“Bluebelle” is the pretty one of the fleet. She is a 1988 Austin Mini Mayfair Automatic Cabriolet by Auto Design (Kent). Fitted with a 998cc engine and automatic gearbox, she is very much the slowest car on the fleet. I have owned her since 2025, and will be an excellent template for reconstructing the non-existent parts that are no longer available for “Lippy” above.
Daniel
“Daniel” is a 1994 VW T4 Transporter van. Currently in primer, she will return to being white very soon once all the welding is complete. Fitted with a non-turbo 1.9 diesel engine, Cornish hills on the A30 will be fun..! A common conversion is to a 1.9 turbo (non ECU) engine, which may be done in the future.
James
“James” is a 2006 Skoda Octavia 4×4 1.9 TDI, in mint condition. Purchased in 2026 with only 69,000 miles, and full history including the original order for the car along with the hand over to the first owner when new, this is an excellent candidate to be a future classic since it is the 4×4 model.
